LIIIIIIVES. harhar. welcome back to the website guys. we're waking up! the boards are tidied up, bios are all accepted or at least viewed, and people are roleplaying. including myself! what a wonder! anyways. we do need more members. i'll be cleaning out the canon characters, so please, if you don't have one, go and get one! well, unless you can't roleplay them well. then just.. continue being awesome by yourself. I was going to have everyone make a thread, but that would be a lot of threads, so instead, everyone must post in a thread. i'm not going to monitor this being done, but I think it would be good to get us all alive again. also! please welcome our newest staff member! (OOC: Meh, a return thread and also one that might hopefully help bring back life to us all. Hopefully.)

"Hmph, I don't see why the animals were warning me about the gorge. Nothing here seems all that dangerous!" Axel mused aloud to himself. Then again, even being warned and danger actually being there, Axel wasn't one to fret. He laughed at the face of danger. In fact, danger tended to be his thing. The adrenaline running, all that good stuff his mind could now only remember. He had no longer a heart to truly feel that exhilarating moment anymore.

Just to think, he and Saix used to be best friends. Now, the two couldn't really stand the sight of each other.

'Ria? Huh!' he thought to himself. Red mane stood out in the midst of the craggy walls of the gorge as he slunk through casually. His fur was mainly tan but for his mane and the tuft of hair on his tail which were red like his hair color normally was. Just like his hair, his mane was spiked in the same fashion. Even his tail was a bit spiked. Brilliant green eyes surveyed his surroundings without much interest.

"How boring, and here I thought I was going to get a thriller!" he said.

The Flurry of Dancing Flames spoke all too soon. A low rumbling reached his ears and lightly shook the ground beneath his paws. Confused, Number VIII peered down at his paws. His black shiny claws, though retracted, still stuck out. A small rock trembled with the ground's quaking.

Just before he could really dwell on what in the hell was happening, Axel turned his head towards whence he came and his eyebrows raised slightly. Rushing torrents of brown, murky water was headed right his way! "Alright, now we're talking!" he mused before taking off at a run. Slender and durable, Axel planned on running as best he could for the sake of fun before he would teleport out of the water's way. A smirk was on his face. Even though he couldn't really feel thrilled, this was as close as he could get and he seemed to enjoy it.
